MES Software in the cloud: NET@PRO on Azure

Milan, 3rd May 2021 – Qualitas Informatica, leader in MES systems for the management, planning and control of corporate production, announces the availability of NET@PRO on Azure and encloses in a single simple integrated cloud platform all the features necessary for the optimization of production activities and thus enable the development of Industry 4.0.

The role of the MES in production management is now universally recognised. According to the most recent estimates, the global market for Manufacturing Execution System would increase from $11.9 billion in 2020 to $14.9 billion by 2024[1], with the increasing use of industrial automation along with lower implementation costs representing the main drivers of growth in the industry.

Thanks to the cloud approach, the new NET@PRO on Azure integrated solution ensures greater security and robustness, while maintaining all the flexibility of a Saas model, reducing risks and maximising return on investment.

The path of continuous innovation that has always distinguished the history of Qualitas Informatica has meant that the Vicenza-based company was among the first players in the market to implement a full web MES offer, an approach that has then brought it to the natural evolution towards the cloud, overcoming the limits of an on premise architecture but maintaining that infrastructural solidity that decades of experience has stratified.

Thanks to the scalability and simplicity of the cloud it is now possible to implement MES systems able to plan, monitor and improve production in the broad sense, that is enabling all those integration and traceability capabilities, that in the context of Industry 4.0 are fundamental peculiarities of the production chain intelligent and future-proof. An agile and always-up-to-date cloud solution that delivers high data security and integrity, seamlessly supports the company’s growth and makes an important evolution from traditional rigid MES systems, with procedures that often become obsolete as soon as they are implemented.

In particular, NET@PRO on Azure* integrates the typical MES features in the cloud of Qualitas Informatica with all the services offered by the Azure cloud, differentiating from competition with the aim of providing customers with the widest and most complete platform possible, from production planning to connection with machines, passing through quality control in production, la traceability, la the maintenance. A truly distributed ecosystem able to integrate in a simple, fluid and effective way with all the information systems of the company.
